About me
My name is Chelsea Walsh
-
I have been working as an educator since 2003 and now I am using that experience to help others learn to train their pets.
-
Continuing education and improvement is important to me and I am in the process of becoming a KPA-CPT certified trainer.
-
I have experience with a range of training goals including basic manners, puppy foundations and reducing reactivity.
Our pets are a source of great joy but bridging the communication gap between species can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed and out of options. Whether you are hoping to start off right with a new pet or want to learn to address big feelings and overwhelming behaviors I can help. I focus on providing personalized training plans that take into account the unique needs of my human and animal clients.

My approach extends beyond the dog to focus on teaching you. By increasing your understanding of the principles of effective dog training you will be better prepared to meet your current and future training goals. Here’s how we achieve that:
-
Understanding the Why: For every skill you work on with your dog I will make sure you understand the principles behind it so you are prepared for any curveballs your dog might throw at you.
-
Feedback: I will provide you with personalized feedback to help you better understand and adapt your dog and their unique learning style. In addition, I will give you feedback to improve your technique and avoid common frustrations and hurdles in dog training.
-
Building a Supportive Partnership: My goal is for you to become a confident dog owner/trainer. I will use your input and feedback to tailor lessons focused on helping you meet your goals. If you have a question between training sessions don’t hesitate to contact me.
Together, we can unlock your dog's potential and strengthen the bond you share through a compassionate and scientifically grounded approach to training.
